Bond Denied for McDonough Rape Suspect

MCDONOUGH, GA – A McDonough man charged with raping an elderly woman will remain in the Henry County Jail.

Henry County Superior Court Judge Holly W. Veal denied bond for Travale Farris today, ruling that he is a danger to the community, a risk of re-offending, a risk of intimidating witnesses and a flight risk.

Farris, 28, was arrested in March on charges of one count each of rape, aggravated sexual battery, burglary in the first degree and false imprisonment, as well as three counts of criminal attempt to commit burglary in the first degree.

His case remains under investigation by the Henry County District Attorney’s Office.
