Hampton man to serve life for molesting two children

MCDONOUGH, GA – A Henry County man will spend life in prison after pleading guilty to molesting two girls.

Carlos Albert Merazlizcano, 42, entered a guilty plea Tuesday to one count of aggravated child molestation, five counts of child molestation, two counts of incest, and one count of statutory rape. He was sentenced to life in prison plus 30 years. He also must register as a sex offender and have no contact with the victims.

Merazlizcano confessed to police that he molested the two girls in his Hampton home, as well as previously when living in Texas.

Merazlizcano started touching one of the children’s private parts when she was age 10, as well as masturbating in front of her while making her watch pornography. He also has sex with the second child multiple times from age 14 -17, as well as forced her to perform oral sex on him.

“This man tormented these children for years,” District Attorney Darius Pattillo said. “The family is grateful to have him behind bars and not have him harm any more families.”

This case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Kayla Kudratt and the Crimes Against Children/Domestic Violence Unit.
